This month join us to hear Camille Cormier of Lady Bug Phytoprotection tell us how to control pests with beneficial insect predators.

At our November meeting, learn about controlling your worst orchid pests using beneficial insects with Camille Cormier, founder of Lady Bug Phytoprotection. Camille will be with us in person. The talk will focus on the different pests that call our orchids home and the beneficial predators that you can use to control them without the need of harmful chemicals.

Camille Cormier is the owner and founder of Lady Bug Phytoprotection. She is a horticulturalist and biological pest control specialist. Camille graduated from the Montreal Botanical Garden School of Horticulture in 2006. She has more than 18 years of experience in the horticultural industry. In 2017, she undertook a certificate in pesticide application and pest control in indoor growing facilities. Not long after, Camille combined her passion for plants and entomology. In 2021, she founded Lady Bug Phytoprotection, a business that helps plant enthusiasts and professional growers deal with pests in an environmentally friendly way. Lady Bug Phytoprotection has helped countless businesses and plant enthusiasts effectively get rid of unwanted pests through biological control techniques using natural predators.

The meeting will be a hybrid meeting. Our in-person meeting is in Hall F at Nepean Sportsplex.  We will have the usual Show Table, raffle and refreshments with a break to chat with our "Ask Me Anything" experts.  Members, please bring your plants to the show table by 1:40 pm to allow time for judging.
