The Ottawa Orchid Society (OOS) is managed by a Board of Directors, who are chosen in accordance with the Society’s formal Constitution. The President, Vice-president, Secretary and Treasurer are elected by the general membership through elections held every 2 years. The other members of the board are appointed by the elected members, and these individuals change from time to time depending on their capability and willingness to serve.

If you are interested in becoming a member of the board, please review the Society constitution and the job description for the position you are interested in. The Society is always looking for volunteers in various capacities, particularly for the Annual Show, and volunteering is a great way to become known and recognized. As with any activity, the more you put into it the more you get out of it.
